Fraenk'ness in Nuremberg

Great ambience and nice service BUT the Schäuffelchen burger was coated with far too much mayonnaise, so that the meat taste was completely covered. It is also annoying that the Cocktail Special (5 cocktails at 5 euros each; for 55 minutes; from 5 o'clock in the evening) is advertised everywhere, but it really only counts in the time from 5 to 6 o'clock, and not 55 minutes from the first order. Totally confusing and unfortunately the guest was not addressed to make an exception. Then please change the wording quickly or do not advertise the 'summer special' so prominently. And unfortunately I also have to deduct a star for the gender toilets - sorry we're really out of the decade! Not priced according to the offer - a shame!

Pretty impressed! This place is great for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans. I did not except to like the food that much. The team was very nice and attentive. 👍

On our trip to Nuremberg, we didn't miss out on dining in Fränk'ness in the evening. There were 6 of us and had the full menu for € 50 each including a glass of wine and a bottle of water. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We would have expected more from the dishes, as the individual components were not always freshly prepared, or you could already have tasted that they were pre-produced. We wanted to swap the dessert in the menu for a cheaper one (on the menu). But this was rejected. Nevertheless, it has to be said that the price-performance ratio is consistent. The ambience and the furnishings are relaxed and tasteful. Conclusion: we had a nice evening; We would have expected more from the name "Alexander Hermann" in this location.

Once upon a time ....... Unfortunately, the creeping decline can no longer be overlooked. We have been to Franconia several times in the last 2 years and have been seeing a continuous deterioration for about 10 months. Wait 20 minutes for two cups of coffee and another 15 minutes for the apple strudel, that's tough. The rest was given to us by the not exactly polite staff. Ergo: We're not coming any more.

The food, the service, the ambience itself, I don't even know where to start. I was very excited about my visit to Fränk Ness! The ambience is very cool, the mix of rustic, industrial and wood looks great all in all. The open kitchen in the middle is also great and you can watch the food being prepared! The service is very friendly and courteous. I felt very comfortable and didn't have to wait long for the service. The food, a dream. It's easy to overeat because everything tastes so good. The price is definitely reasonable. The location right in the pedestrian zone is also great. Close to the train station and some hotels, so easy to reach. Only parking is a bit tricky, but there is a parking garage nearby.

Expensive as the devil. Burger 15 euros, the addition of a bay piece of potatoes for 5 euros. It costs 25 euros, nor did I eat it, nor was anything tasty. They won't see me again. Scarcity. :)

I am totally disappointed. I was looking forward to a nice evening and for that I got a "homemade" lemonade (water with syrup ?!) and an overpriced (> 20) burger with the stone hard bun. I think the concept is great, unfortunately badly implemented ...

Well difficult. So under the name AH you imagine super delicious food and the food here tastes really good, but we were disappointed overall. Young, pretty girls serving. Unfortunately, it was rather forgetful and we didn't find the type of hospitality pleasant. It tries to sell more every time. If you order an iced tea, you will be asked which alcohol you would like to have as an add-on. When ordering espresso, you nod and ask to order a double one. Classic sales tricks. Burgers were good, you can leave out the side salad. Design inside is beautiful We won't come any more

Really lousy level! Totally disappointed. We waited 40 minutes for Schäufele burger which came cold. Unbelievably bad! I got the knife thrown on my foot ... Returned and ate elsewhere!

The Schäuferle burger was really tasty, also nicely presented. Therefor 2 stars. Unfortunately the portion size was a bit small for the price. The beer for € 4.90 is nonsense. There is no star. The service was nice, but a bit slow despite the mediocre occupancy. I would say you pay for the name and the good location on the square. If you like that, ok.

Very pleasant quiet ambience. The waitresses were friendly, nice and helpful. Food extremely delicious! Omnjomnjomnjom :). There are unusual Franconian dishes that are freshly prepared, which can take 1.5 hours. Whoever has this patience will be rewarded. Well priced, but you can taste it here too. There is something for every stomach, meat, vegetarian, vegan. It's worth a visit! Thank you Alexander Herrnan for the great restaurant and the culinary delights!

The food was good! ... The service was a bit overwhelmed and the cleanliness was not that good either ... There were crumbs on the bench and the next table.

With the name AH one would have expected unusual dishes ala Imperial and Palazzo, instead there are burgers which at best can still be described as well done or as dog food "plucked roast", a shame that this restaurant is allowed to bear the name "AH". This was probably our first and only visit. We are gourmets and we expected the same from the name. Were very disappointed 😞 😞

Very nice restaurant! Great service and delicious food. The melon salad blew us away yesterday ... the burgers and dessert left nothing to be desired either. Always happy 😊

A great place to eat on Koenigstrasse near the Hauptbahnhoff. Classy with very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the Apfelstrudl... It's simply divine and the best I've ever tasted in my life.

German take on an American diner using local food. Very tasty - the duck and chicken burgers were a delight.

Nice laid back place with good pizza and burger options. Also a full bar with talented bartenders. Good spot to hang out near the train station or just to relax and have some good food.

Restaurant calls and cancels reservation 4 hours prior to scheduled time, with no option offered to remedy the situation. Bad customer experience and bad planning.

Nice decor, and clear menu. But Slow service - sexist bathroom-and strange combinations of food (burger and NO fries?) flavor & taste was okay. Kitchen was closed without notice so no announcement was made and we couldn't order dessert, because it was Sunday... would think about before coming back

i had to wait more than 30 minutes for this pizza but it was one of the best i've ever eaten!

I really liked the taste of the food and the atmosphere of the space. Well done! Unfortunately I couldn't see, how the food had anything to do with Frankonia (except for Baggers instead of fries). It's basically Burgers and Pizza and therefore I think a little overpriced. They do a lot of stuff with bread and pulled meat. For example the "Schäufele" Burger is pulled pork in a Prezeldough-bun which combines great but is not a Schäufele. They also have duck, beef and salmon for the burgers. Their tea was tastefull, too. Unfortunately the waiters did not speak english and weren't often around. Overall it was a good dinner but not at all what we (due to the name) expected.

Food was good but rather expensive, service was not what you will expect it to be- we waited really long for getting our food, paying, etc and generally staff was not so friendly.

Employees were courteous, the food was absolutely tasty. And the prices are fair. I come again!

really and truly excellent .. traditional cuisine in the most delicious newly interpreted in burger form, with a house beer ... just perfect.

We waited 25 minutes until we could order, the staff was unfriendly and they did not fill up the beer to the 0,5 l mark which is a serious crime in Bavaria. The food was also not worth the money...

Great ambience for get together. Love the heavy flavoured pumpkin soup. The pulled pork burger was a tad too salty.

Food was OK. Not the best I had in nuremburg. Chicken burger was made with brown meat and not breast.

Food was tasty, the staff was helpful and friendly. But I will admit, the prices seemed a little on the higher side. The decor and the location is great and super cute. There is outdoor seating during the warmer months. Perfect for people watching.

Good food with a healthy focus. The buffet breakfast is also a great option. Though this place is on the more expensive side.
